Attending the Aquis Showcase: Networking, Insights, and Supporting the Winning Pitch

On November 12, 2024, we had the pleasure of attending the Aquis Showcase at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. This event brought together a selection of high-growth companies listed on the Aquis Stock Exchange, all vying for investment interest through brief, engaging presentations. Each company had eight minutes to pitch their vision, followed by two minutes of audience questions. With a strict timekeeper and audience voting, the atmosphere was dynamic and competitive, with winners progressing through each round.

We were excited to reconnect with familiar faces, network with new contacts, and share updates on our own initiatives. The event offered a valuable platform to discuss our current projects and engage with diverse businesses, from London-based ventures to those operating globally. For companies with international reach, we emphasised our legal support services, helping them navigate complex business landscapes effectively.

The economic analysis and market predictions presented at the showcase added further insight into the challenges and opportunities ahead. As the event concluded, we were thrilled to have voted for the eventual winner, Marula Mining plc. This African-focused battery metals investment and exploration company impressed the audience with its interests in high-value mining operations and development projects across Africa, reflecting the growing importance of sustainable energy resources.
